Electric Smoker for Cold Smoking and Warming Cabinet?

    Good Morning,

Every now & then when my MCS kicks in I wind up looking at FB Marketplace or Craigslist. I saw a Bradley MSIS1 electric smoker listed for $65. That's a far cry from what it cost new. SO at that price I was thinking of picking up as an easy way to do some cold smoking and to use it as a warming cabinet for items I want to rest.

I did a little research on the unit and you cold smoke by disconnecting the cable the supplies power to the cabinet heating element and just run the smoke generator. I have no idea what kind of temps that would produce. My bigger concern is that the shelves only measure 11"x13". I just don't see ribs or briskets fitting on the shelves. I also read Max Good's review and it was not stellar.

Do any of you who have an electric smoker use it as a warmer? Do any of you have any suggestions of an electric smoker that can be used for both cold smoking and as a warmer?

My oven, or the keep warm setting on my Trager.
I called my primary care doctor and asked about getting MCS vaccinated. Only to find out that is no cure.

I have a Smokin-It #2 electric. I’ve never thought about using it as a warmer. Hmmmm. I usually just use the kitchen oven at its lowest setting or a faux cambro with a cooler.

As for cold smoking, my electric has a cold smoking kit that I bought when I got it nearly nine years ago. But I’ve never tried it! Kind of forgot I had it to be honest. Shame on me. Maybe I will give it a go over the winter. Hmmm again.
