New Competition Set up

Arkansas RED! The van is a 2015 Winnebago Travato, built in the Ram Promaster Van. The pit is the first Yoder Cimarron Pellet Trailer ever! Painted Ram Red to match the van. I've christened it Hawg Wagon and Hawglett! More photos of the pit in the Wood Pellet section.

Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.

Do you ever run classes on pellet smoking at your factory? I know a lot of pellet smoker manufacturers run them. But not aware of anyone who is a serious competitor.

Cooker manufacturers may do that. Pellet factories are just sawdusty! Not very exciting. I don't want to jinx myself on the book thing...

CandySueQ , AWESOME RIG! Can't wait to see some more pics. You should do a competition BBQ class to help teach those of us who are looking to move up to the big leagues some of the basics, tricks, techniques, etc...
