A friend of mine started a rub company and asked me to use his first rub release, Lone Star Dust, at cook offs. This rub is really good. Not too sweet, not too savory, very well balanced on the palate. Our first run with it we took sixth chicken and fourth pork. Second time out, no walk in chicken but took third in ribs. If you're wanting to try out something new, definitely look into Grand Oaks BBQ Lone Star Dust.
