If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.

I had hoped to meet you in person one day if you came to the Whistle Stop BBQ competition in Huntsville, but now see that last year was the last time they had it, and it is now defunct... I had dreams of doing the shade tree category one year soon.... oh well!

Covid has wrecked havoc in comp BBQ. Whistle Stop was a fine event. I cooked it with a friend many years ago. Adam Perry Lang had flown in and cooked on a borrowed pit. He got the first perfect score in a meat category (brisket) after the major rule changes made in 2006. Backyard events in AL killed the "pro" events too.
