Wine maker (lots of varieties)- goes good with meat!
There weren't a whole bunch of participants, but you're still competing against those that are there. Was a little nervous, but stuck to my plan (mostly).
1st in Ribs
1st in Pork Butt
3rd in Chicken
Last in specialty (that cost me the overall).
Each 1st place got me a $100 gift card and the 3rd got me a free Growler of any beer I want. Honestly, was a little too busy to take pictures, but I did get some.

I did what I call pork fingers. Bite sized pork butt marinated overnight. I think the teriyaki was a little too overpowering. My original idea was to do smoked/grilled wings, should've stuck to that, but I was kinda at my limit already. Oh well, next time. :-)

Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
