Hi folks,
I completely melted* the gasket on my Primo Kamado the first time I cranked it up north of 850 degrees for pizza. I replaced with a "High-Que Gold Standard Nomex and Kevlar Gasket, Replacement for Primo Oval x-Large 400 Grill High-Heat 14.5' " ** gasket, but I can't find online how hot I can get it and I'm now gun shy about getting it too hot. Does anyone know how hot this gasket can take or if there's a better one where I won't have to worry about how hot I take the Primo?
Thanks!
* full disclosure I used a hair dryer on the air intake to force the fire as hot as possible...
