Ok, so I've been looking at them for years. I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new Kamado Joe Big Joe. Getting this big guy around to the back yard was a chore but it's here and all ready to rock. I am impressed with the quality. Mrs. KamadoRob wasn't all that impressed when she found out what it cost though.
This thing rocks! I'm doing a "burn-in" now, though they say it isn't necessary it gives me a chance to dial in temps and see how it performs. I will be doing a lot of cooking this weekend for sure!
KJ gets along with the other grills really well.

I jus know some Great Food is gonna come outta that mo-chine!
Thanks guys. A little burn-in and first cook tonight. All went very well. I'm already loving the divide and conquer system with the adjustable height grates. I pretty much always do burgers for a first cook on a new grill. Later this weekend, pork butt then rib eyes.
Burgers with grilled portabella caps and grilled onions on a toasted onion bun with asparagus.
