    The MCS Journey

I made an attempt at a Hasty Bake and an SNS Kamado about 7 or 8 years ago. They were both amazing cookers, but I gave neither a fair shake simply because I was at a place in life where I just did not have the time to mess with it. I moved into the Grilla Silverbac, bought the Primate and invested in a good bit of their outdoor kitchen stuff. Needless to say, I am a fan of Grilla Grills, their products and most of all their service and support. Just excellent.

Fast forward and I wanted to cook with more fire. Of course the kettle is great, but really also wanted a ceramic cooker. Yesterday, I ordered the Grilla Kong. The size is perfect for me an I get to carry on the Grilla brand with my arsenal.

Will post pics once it arrives...

This will be my 5th. I sold the SNS and the Hasty Bake years ago.

You really are a part of the Grilla tribe. How are the outdoor kitchen components holding up? I have seen people love them and others complain about rusting.

Zero rust. Been very happy with all the pieces and would surely consider adding to what I have. I am indeed a fan of Grilla.

Well it arrived. Shipped quickly, but the transport company had their own agenda. All together and hope to get this thing dirty over the weekend. Went together quick. All tools provided. But as you know, I am in the Grilla fan club…

I spent time at the Grilla store in DFW before it closed and I was impressed by the quality of everything they made. Enjoy your new cooker. Looks great.
