Has anyone used the charcoal divider for the Kick Ash Basket to create a 2-zone fire? I've got one on the way for my BGE and wanted to know if anyone has experience and tips.

I have not tried this yet. would think it should work pretty well. The bigger the Egg, the better it will work.
Let us know what you think.

I have something similar but haven’t used it much. It wil work for cooking for a small group. I am planning to try it with the Ceramic Grill Store Rig and a half stone raised to top of the Rig as a holding place until everything is cooked. I can’t get to in for a couple of weeks, but I’ll post the results.

I did my first cook using the divider in my egg and it worked great. I'm only cooking for two so the amount of grill space is just enough. The first cook was popper stuffed dry rubbed chicken breasts wrapped in bacon and glazed with sauce. I cooked on indirect first, then seared bacon direct, then back on indirect to set the glaze.
