Those are awesome photos. Thank you very much! I have the same problem with my kid. He goes between Houston and Galveston and there is a BBQ festival in Houston tomorrow. I offered to pay for two tickets but he can't commit to it as right now - of 6pm PST. I want to get a Southwest ticket and drag him to it but for that price I could buy a couple of BBQ's.

Look like you guys had a great time. Did you get to sample some of the Meat Church stuff? Great pics!

Spinaker he did reverse sear steaks that we sampled. The pics with the steaks on the cast iron were his. He lives in the Dallas area and does a 4 hour class for $189. I think I am going to give it a shot.

Notavegan when you cook at an Eggfest they give you a new one to cook on and sell them at a reduced price at the end of the Eggfest. The larg was selling for $770 with nest, platesetter and bag of charcoal. That's a great deal since they are still in full warranty.

My wife and I just got home from the Nature coast eggfest in Homosassa, FL. It lasted from 10 to 3 which was about an hour too long IMO.
Lots of really good tasty treats were enjoyed by all. I have several pics on my android but I don't know how to upload pics from my android yet.
We stayed at an old Hotel that dates back to the 1800s. Beautiful country and a lot of fun but my wife was ready to go shopping after about an hour and a half. My favorite dishes: Pigshot which was some sort of cream cheese filled thick bacon rolled goodie, and the other dish was bacon wrapped venison which was amazingly tender and delicious.
