BGE is migrating their warranty registrations to a new system, and they are sending emails asking owners to re-register their lifetime warranty. You may or may not be in their system! You can check by starting a warranty claim. If your email address is found, you’re in their system.
If you’re not in their system, or if you never sent in your registration, you can register your BGE now. All you need is the serial number, which can be found on the inside of the dome, and proof of purchase; your dealer should be able to get that for you, mine had my proof from 2009 (I was already in the system, from a prior claim, but it was cool that they had it!)
It’s a good warranty. I’ve had my dome, my base, and my fire box all replaced, with just photos of the affected part.
