    Estate sale BGE for $200.

First post, longtime lurker. Suffering from advanced MCS.
Estate sale, professionally conducted. Second day, last Saturday, signs posted "Discount Day".
Large BGE, current version, with heat plate, pizza stone, cover, stand, side shelves, 1 1/4 bag BGE lump. Tagged $450. Decided to offer $300.
Following my rule never to bid against myself, "What is your bottom dollar on that green grill?" "Well, I would like to get $200." Slight pause. "I could do that, if everything is included."

Not gloating. Well, maybe a little. Willing seller, willing buyer.
AR and these channels are great.
    Cheers from Yakima, WA.

Seen one, seen em all. it does have the older swivel top with 5 holes, plus solid ceramic cap.

What will be your first cook?

First cook was Meathead's meatloaf, yesterday. It was fine. I have been doing dry runs to sort temp control. Have more experience with pellets and gas.

Once you have it figured, a BGE will hold temperature rock solid, within a degree or two, until it runs out of fuel. No controller needed. Nice score!

Ceramic Grills like the BGE can last along time, but remember when you are buying new there is a lifetime warranty on the ceramics which doesn’t carry over to buying used. I think $300 would be a good buy, $200 would be a steal. $450 might be a little on the high side, which is still much lower than what the typical person tries to sell their used one.

So, the takeaway here is that an MCS induced seizure can be therapeutically treated with cash.
