Was hoping a firefighting pro would jump in to this. Anyway, I do a lot of woodworking and create friction in cloths via rubbing action. I have experience with cloths smoking hours after use. I put them outside in a far removed metal container when done.
The key word to 'outdoor cooker' is 'outdoor'. My PK360 never comes indoors, but if it did it would have all coals removed. I heat the house with wood and have hot coals buried in the ash days after the fire went out. As Troutman learned the hard way, never put ashes into a dust bin. Living on a farm I have the luxury of dumping into a hole in the field. Were I a city dweller those ashes would be soaked in a metal bucket before bagging and putting out for garbage. Glad all worked out for the good and we have all been reminded.
