WSM coming out of storage

MY WSM has been in storage for almost a year. It was properly cleaned before I put it away, then bagged to keep everything out of it. When I pull it out should I just do another quick clean and light it up, or should I season it again?

I'd take a look at it and if nothing looks or smells odd, light her up and cook something. Maybe do something hot like chicken and preheat it first.

You should be fine given that you properly cleaned it and then secured it while it was in storage. Unless it has mold you should be good to go.

Because he is in the US Navy and just coming home from a tour. He was asking us in another thread about the best American meal to cook for his family when he gets home.
