I ordered a set of gaskets for my Smokey Mountain Cooker and another for my son's OK Joe Longhorn. (BBQgaskets.com) Standard nomex gaskets with RTV adhesive.
Instructions say to "comb" the adhesive to spread it into ridges for application of the gaskets. In looking for a way to accomplish the "combing", I ran across a 2 sided cat's flea comb from Petco that worked perfectly. The coarse side with a little angle made about 5 perfect ridges, and the excess wiped right off the stainless steel tines.
I got mine in the store at the list price of $5.95. Online, it is less than $4.00, but I imagine there is shipping involved.
