      Agreed...WSM, no bowl and loaded with lit charcoal is a terrific cooker for birds!! Done it for years with great results...also good for chicken pieces and wings!

        I have WSM, looking for advice on chicken wings to take to party. We have a great chipotle dry rub for smoking. I don't know how to transport, reheat, possibly marinade to keep fresh before (I'm thinking), flashing on the grill there, bf serving.

          I've transported wings on multiple occasions. I like to use a disposable aluminum tin. Right after the wings come out, put them in the tin and cover tightly with foil. Depending on how long you go before serving, just pop them in your friend's oven, at 300, for 20 minutes or so and then remove the foil and serve.

            Thanks, I was thinking grill to get outside a little seared, likely similar to oven, I would guess.
