    A Heartfelt Thank You (& Apology)

    As I decompress from this year’s Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a moment to thank you...members of the Pitmaster’s Club...for helping me pull off the best turkeys I have ever cooked!

    I asked for insights on why my test turkey on the PBC was, frankly, poor. I received several thoughts and ideas which I incorporated into today’s cook. Those changes allowed me to create two turkeys that were moist, tender, flavorful and thoroughly enjoyed by my family.

    My apology to you is that in my focus to get the food to the starving masses, I forgot to take pics that I could share with you of the beautiful and succulent birds.

    I know...no pics means that it never happened

    But it did. They were awesome! And I (& my family) give credit and thanks to YOU!!

          No pics,,,,
          You will have to post a notarized affidavit signed by all attendees attesting to the validly of your statements.
          It will then be passed to the board members of the Pit for review of authenticity !

                  I want to say the same - best food ever this year, thanks to everyone on the site. Got one pic before they descended on the birds like the Huns were attacking. Even grandma didn’t care that the gravy was thinner than tradition.
