Grills:
Weber 22" Kettle Premium w/Slow N' Sear 2.0
Pit Barrel Cooker
Grilla Grills Chimp
W.C. Bradley & Co. Char Kettle CK-115 ~1980s Vintage Grill (inactive)
After Thanksgiving, I got it out of the box. All the pieces were there and I got it assembled! I was surprised to get both grates -- the standard and the hinged; for some reason I thought I'd only be getting the hinged grate, so that was nice.
As every PBC video on the internet attests, the thing just speaks quality. Still, I was very happy with how light it was. I'm not planning on moving this thing around a lot, but this will make it very easy when I need to.
The only glitch is that the vent cover is a tad looser than I'd like. It's not loose enough that I think it'll fall under its own weight during a cook, but I'd like it tighter, just to minimize the risk of moving it a lot if the cover gets snagged on it. Tightening the screw had no effect. (Although as I write this, I didn't think to check if there was a nut behind the screw on the inside of the barrel.
So the PBC is outside and covered up, and we'll see how my first cook goes tomorrow!
