Fireball Pineapple?

Anyone tried fireball pineapple on the PBC? It says you need a rotisserie, but I thought it might do ok if you figured a way to hang the pineapple.

Haven't tried it, but I also think it'd work in the PBC. Not even sure you'd need to hang it if it'd sit upright on the grate with the rebar in place. Using the grate might also give you the flexibility to flip it over, turn it on its side, etc. to even out the cooking. Otherwise it seems it'd hang reasonably well on a PBC skewer. Good call for this time of year, pineapples are BOGO at our Harris Teeter right now. I absolutely love pineapple upside down cake, there's gotta be a good recipe for that in a cast iron skillet I could try on the PBC...

I've done rotisserie pineapple several different ways but not with the whiskey soak. Will have to give that a try, love old Malcom Reed !!

Use the turkey hanger. Think someone here suggested it for Tacos El Pastor (tried it and it works well) so should work with a whole pineapple.
