Options for reducing dirty smoke

    I really did not want to get into this discussion but when one of our senior members spoke up and said that she does not have heavy smoke I have to back her up. so let's listen to fzxdoc and not have gray or dark smoke coming out of your smokers. I have had numerous smokers, but not a PBC, not one has made gray smoke.

    If you cannot control the airflow intake and outflow to make blue or clear smoke your not controlling your smokier. Grease smoke is as bad as any other smoke. It tastes bad. That is why we have grease pans of some kind in most smokers.

      My heaviest smoke is during the stall with a loaded down barrel aka 4 briskets or 3 butts sweatin' it out. The best thing to do is throw the definition of "good smoke" out the door.
