I have some of the smaller hooks that came with my Hunsaker rib hanger I bought for my WSM, and I was thinking of trying them with chicken wings on my PBC. I have a PBC corn hanger and some skewers, but I don't have the hinged grate. So whenever I cook wings (on the regular grate), I can't use the corn hanger and skewers. And I'd rather not buy the hinged grate unless absolutely necessary.

When this subject came up in the past somebody at the pit would tie the ends of two wings together with kitchen twine and then loop them over the rebar.
When I read your title I immediately thought of Larson’s Boneless Chicken Farm. I can just visualize about a dozen or so wings a hangin in a barrel. Will they still have feathers on em. A hook thru em or juss hang em over the elbow? 🕶
If I were to do so, (Provided their guilt had been established) RonB lol!
I reckon I'd likely wanna use some sort of a grill/fish/ wire basket sorta thing, an do a buncha wings, en masse, vs hookin / hangin individually
At Wal-Mart in the grilling section I picked up a bunch of these mesh wire baskets that were clamshell lids. They have 3 different setting to where they have more room for thicker things. They also have a handle that you can hang from a hook ( I actually got some stainless S hooks from Lowe’s because the regular PBC hooks hung to low).
This is the closest picture I could find without actually digging mine out.
I have used them for legs, thighs, wings, sausages, etc...
