    New Pit Barrel Co. lighting video

    stickbit posted this video in the Lighting my PBC sticky topic but I thought I'd bring it out here so it gets more visibility. In the new lighting video they don't discuss the lighter fluid method and they add a lighting method when grilling that involves using lump charcoal. The lump charcoal method worked great on some salmon I did last night and you use a lot less fuel, which is a common knock against using the PBC for grilling.

      So they are going away from basing the lighting and performance on KBB specifically?

        Looks like it. I went to their website directly and this is the lighting video under their ’Using PBC' section now. The old lighting video is still on their YouTube page.

          I would doubt it. They aren't even pushing KBB in the new video and instead are using B&B briquettes. B&B also makes several varieties of lump. I'm partial to B&B as I've seen it recommended a lot in these forums.
