It's a beautiful day in South Jersey! First cook of 2019
Beautiful sun, warming up into the low 60's...the Winter is over! First cook of the season! PBC out of the shed, filled with KBB and lit...4 lb pork butt dry brined...then double hung (no falling into the coals for this baby!--Lesson well Learned...) And off we go! Barrel's at 270 or so, meat's already about 105. Stall here we come! As the tire cover on the back of my wife's 17 year old CR-V says: Life Is Good! Looking forward to another great year with the PBC
AND AS IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH: IT'S OPENING DAY!! GO PHILLIES!
Happy 2019 to all you fellow PBC-Heads
