Welcome to the cult! My PBC is my go to as well, though I do have a gasser and a straight charcoal grill. The gasser get's used when I cook for folks that don't particularly care for the taste of smoked meats (I know, blasphemy right), my wife being one. The charcoal grill for hot and fast sears (thin steaks, reverse sears etc). If I'm searing off a single steak I use the charcoal starter and just slap a grill on top of it. Like searing on a jet engine with the afterburner going. This pretty much keeps my MCS under control. One of these days though I'm gonna pull the string and get me a KBQ. That's the one thing that's got me salivating!

I have been using a 26†weber kettle a weber gasser, a 24†smoke vault and a GMG pellet grill. I only bought the GMG to see if I liked pellet cooking. I did like it but decided to sell that grill to my buddy and purchase one a step up when my gasser poops out.
So in the meantime I bought this PBC which will take the roll of cooking for larger groups.

Heck, I use my PBC to cook for 1 as well as for a crowd, but then it's my only choice for low and slow. I think the kettle is the perfect companion to the PBC, and if I didn't already have a charcoal "grill" that would be my choice. What do you cook on the gasser?

PappyBBQ My wife uses it about as much as I do. We do all the hot and fast cooks like chops, burgers, dogs and grilled veggies on it. It gets used 2-3 times a week.
