    Beef Short Rib Plate

    This is my 1st time smoking one of these, and it was incredible. The PBC is a monster, everything on it has been great and these were my 1st beef ribs ever (cooking an eating) and they were melt in your mouth! I’m almost a year in PBC user and it’s just getting so easy to use. The set it and forget it aspect is really dialing in. Threw these bad boys on, turned on RedZone, drank some beers and whiskey, and then magic happened. So good, so pumped!

      Beef plate ribs are one of the best cuts you can Smoke/Cook. Great job brother.

        I expected them to taste like brisket and I was blown away when they didn’t. Definitely adding these to my often cook rotation.

            It was 4 bones.... the 4th fell out/off and had a charred burnt firey death in the coal bed... If you look closely at the far left you can see the indentation...RIP rib bone #4

                    fzxdoc sure do! Here is the fireboard info. The spike in temp around the 1:50-2:00 are is where I had the lid off while taking out SLC pork ribs.

                      So I guess that makes the average temp around 275-280. Cooked for just under 4 hours (no crutch), then wrapped it in foil and put in cambro for an hour.

                        Plate ribs are the first thing I smoked and my favorite thing to smoke. I only do it a couple times a year but some bites are the perfect marriage of salt, pepper, fat, smoke, and meat.
