    Easiest PBC cook

Didn't want to hijack the most recent post. Off to either the supermarket or butcher shop soon. Need something I can cook for dinner tonight, so "easiest" would mean a cook less than four hours that would require minimal or no brining, marinade, or general prep. My first thought is ribs, but that wouldn't be the misses first choice.

Hot hot chicken with the lid cracked in order to run close to 400.

Chicken should cook in an hour or so, so you will have time to brine too.

Steaks are great on the PBC. Salmon with PBC's Beef & Game Pit Rub is phenomenal, just had it this weekend and it took 25 minutes.

For a REAL-LY fast cook--try rainbow trout. Use some olive oil, lemon juice, and Lawry's all-purpose seasoning. Cook for 20-25 minutes, at 270-300 degrees. All you really need for fuel is KBB. A-ma-zing!

Hang chicken thighs. Brine a couple hours then cook away!

                I'd go with PBC chicken

It sarted raining pretty hard here, so no PBC tonight. The wifey decided she wanted salmon, and it'll be easier for me to indirect on the gas with some asparagus. Cedar planks under the salmon. But later this weekend, pork shoulder with this awesome Williams Sonoma black garlic BBQ sauce or country style ribs on the PBC.

The PBC is inherently easy to use. Given that it can go 8+ hours with a full basket just about anything one puts in it is easy.

You can't go wrong with chicken and Meatheads Simon and Garfunkel Spice Blend and Baste Recipe.
