    Steak And Cheese on PBC

    I ordered skewers for my PBC that will be here tomorrow. Brainstorming tonight I thought about making steak and cheese. Skewering the green peppers, mushrooms, onions and hanging beef. Anyone else done something similar and have any tips/tricks?

    I've done that type of thing on a kettle, but not the PBC.

        I've done skewers on my PBC. Just left the handles stick out the top so the lid was cracked. Everything came out great. I think running a little hotter with the lid cracked helped soften and char the veggies. Click image for larger version

          I love using the skewers on the PBC. I have only done meat on mine, but everything has turnout excellent. They are perfect for doing something like Pork Belly Burnt Ends or anything else were you have a bunch of small pieces.

          Awesome thanks guys. Yes I went for the pack of 4 10” skewers. I won’t be doing the steak and cheese for a while. Already have a pork butt and chicken thighs lined up this weekend. Maybe next weekend and I’ll be sure to post the photos.

            You will be happy with them. I did a whole shoulder on a skewer last weekend. It worked great!
