it'd take about a minute and a vice to bend up a longer handle to lower that basket too. Nice idea, I think I'll be gluing one of those onto mine this weekend.

Not a bad idea but I honestly don't think it's needed. I could have held that basket of charcoal for 5 minutes and not burnt my hand.

It's not really needed for little stuff like this honestly. You can learn a ton by just getting a decent welder and looking up videos on youtube.

Not a bad idea GrillSergeantTim! I've always been fascinated by welding. Another strong fascination is neon... Can't wait to quit work and start concentrating on the fun stuff!!
