I just bought my second PBC (w/USCG logo) and added a new item with the skewers pack. Well I just saw the one picture where you add items to your order. To me it looked like you hung the "T" end from the bars and I was so excited. The arrived with the new unit and were removed from the packaging with out much thought being given to the packaging. Well the T end didn't fit on the bars and I ended up cooking on the grill grate and was sad.
Today I got a survey and filled it out and gave them one star and a long comment.
Within 5 minutes my phone was ringing with a Louisville KY number. I don't know anyone from LOU so no answered. I then received an email reply NICELY explaining that I was using them incorrectly and how to get it done correctly. I went to the website and realized that if you had gone to the page for the skewers there is a picture and a nice video explaining to put the hook through the hole that I had wondered why it was made that way. I replied saying that I would put them to use properly and update my review at that time.
22 minutes later a voicemail came through from the same number. A lady named Angela had left a full and detailed message explaining my mistake and how to correct it and said that if I had any other issues to please call back.
I have owned grills costing thousands of dollars and have NEVER had any customer experience that was close to this good. I am proud to be able to tell folks about this experience and it further strengthens my commitment to recommending the PBC because I am so very happy with both of mine.
