feeding a crowd is so easy

My wife's brother was in town with his family and I offered to cook. I have no experience cooking for crowds. It's so great to be able to throw the PBC in the back of the van and feed 16 people with very little hassle. Started 3 racks of ribs on the PBC, pulled them to finish in the house, put two chickens on. Everything finished at the same time and got rave reviews and it was hardly any work at all. The capacity of this thing along with the portability is so great. No need to find outlets and cords, everything I need is transported right in the barrel. While the ribs cooked, I threw on brie with apricot preserves and herbs de provence like their video - that was a hit too.

I know some of you have cooked for even bigger crowds but 3 racks, two chickens, and two brie wheels would've seemed impossible to me pre-PBC

I'm pretty sure I sold one to my brother in law - he wants one bad.

Nice! Gotta love that PBC. Always there for you when you need it! And like you said, easy to transport, no electrical or cords needed. Just light and go!

If I am headed to the lake or something, I like to bring the PBC. I can set it up and go do what ever. But the KBQ always gets consideration, and usually wins out. EdF

Spinaker, I sometimes have to toss a coin heads KBQ, tails PBC. Love them both and totally different profiles. Fun to have the choice. EdF it may be time for a PBC 🙄

I am actually considering a second PBC. One for my house, one for my uncle's farm, when I go down to help in the spring and summer. hogdog6 EdF

Love that the PBC is easy to transport and while not indestructible it's pretty solid.

Sounds great. Crowds are fun, I get one regularly with just my family. 14 of us now and 15 on the way.

Meant number 15, not 15 more. Babies don't eat much barbecue for a little while anyway. I guess that helps a bit. Lots of fun!

Yeah, that's how I did my first cook for about 30. And the second. And ...

Yep. Haven't yet gone on the road with the PBC, but I've brought it to the curb for our annual neighborhood 4th of July and Halloween parties. I can drop enough food in the thing to feed the western part of Livermore (come on out if you're in the area!)
