    Mothers Day

My wife wants blackened chicken wings and some fresh Pokie for dinner Sunday, I will also do a side steak for myself, maybe a homemade hot fudge Sunday for desert topped with fresh strawberries. Champagne for her and Russell's 10 year old bourbon me

My wife volunteered me to cook for my mom and the rest of my family on Sunday, so I'll be doing 5 racks of ribs for everyone and then throw on 2 chickens afterwards for my mom to keep as leftovers.

I hope I don't hijack this thread, but I was hoping to try some hot BBQ sauce on one of the ribs and was looking for Black Swan Beso del Fuego. Max Good any idea where I can find it in stores? My local Whole Foods didn't have it, I called this morning.

Have a great cook! Hope everyone enjoys the day. Working nights myself, so no cooking until next week.

What's your plan for blackened wings brew?

Cut wings apart, rince, dry with paper towles, put on cookie sheet in fridge to dry skin, I usually do this 8-24 hours, heat Weber Genesis on high with Grill Grates on flat side once temp is reached put on seasoned wings and turn controls to medium, cook about 7 min on each side till done My wife likes the seasoning mix that comes from Planters Seed Co. in Kansas

Brewmaster I'd reckon not too far outside o' yer' back door, is where ya'd find some REAL BBQ.
Yer cooks look top-notch, comparable to anybody's I've seen lately....

Well good morning all. Iam originally from up state ny Rochester area. I moved to NC three years ago to work in the family business. I have reactly purchased my first smoker, and have been using it every weekend. My son and I have done a Boston butt and brisket. Our butt was more successful than the brisket.I have my 2 nd butt on today for mother's day. I work a lot so somkin in the weekend is relaxing to me. I love to hunt and fish.
