I asked, and he said that he used it for grilling mostly and that he wanted something with a little more capacity. Eh, to each their own I guess.

Great price! I'm on a hunt to find a used Good-One. Might try market place.

I got lucky on my two Good One smokers. I bought both of them brand new for half price nine months apart from the same store. This store was not selling the Good One brand smokers anymore and was trying to get rid of their stock. I saw their add on CL and went and bought the Open Range they had for $593 out the door. They also had a Marshall and Patio Jr. at the time.

Nine months later I see another add on CL for a new Marshall for 50% off and recognize the same picture from nine months before. I go and buy it for $1,240 OTD and that included a new Good One cover for it valued at $140. They are great smokers. I hope you can find one.

That guy obviously didn't know what he had & you reaped the rewards. Good find! More capacity? I guess cooking 5 packer briskets at one time or like 8 racks of ribs at one time not enough capacity?

Guy wanted a grill. PCB isn't ideal for a high capacity grill. I have no clue why one would buy it for just grilling.

TroyOHchatter, yeah, I dunno about that either. I never use my PBC as a grill. That's what my PK Grill is for.
