    Just joined the PBC Nation

Just unboxed my PBC yesterday evening and I have an accessory question. Is the PBC official cover a pain to put on because of the elastic at the bottom or does it go on easy?

    Thanks

Congrats! It's tight-fitting for sure. It will fit over the rods but I recommend removing them and putting them inside, then it only has the handles to go over. The good thing about it is the wind will blow the whole thing away long before it blows that cover off!

Yes put the rods inside definitely. The elastic loosens up over time making it easier to get on and off.

Im impatient and didnt want to wait for an official PBC cover to ship, so I went with a regular old generic kettle cooker cover from Ace Hardware, and put a bungee cord around the bottom of the barrel to keep it in place. Has worked out well so far out here in MO, but if you're in a high winds area maybe not so much.

I didn't get or use a cover for my Black Beauty. I keep her in the garage.

I'm pretty much with everyone else. I pull the rods and store everything in the PBC before I put on the cover. One of the things I love about the PBC is how self contained everything is, and the small space it takes up on my patio!

The cover goes on easy and has withstood some strong winds
