Best turkey ever by cousin with brand new pbc

I've had the PBC for a year and Fishman Griller just put every turkey I've made to shame for a family party last night. I believe it was Simon and Garfunkel with butter under the skin.

Turkey on the PBC is outstanding. We will never fry or do one in the oven again. Do try PBC AP rub sometime on chicken or turkey IMHO it knocks it out of the park.

Thanks ptehan for the kind words - glad you enjoyed it!! I first dry brined it with some kosher salt and let sit in the refrig for a few hours. Then I used the Simon & Garfunkel rub, added some water to make it into a paste and rubbed it under the skin all over the breast meat and all over the turkey exterior. I then added some butter under the skin on the breast meat since I was pressed for time but I usually inject the breast meat with melted butter. I used the PBC turkey hanger and then cooked it just like Noah's video on the PBC web site. It is so juicy and delicious, I think we will be cooking all our turkeys on the PBC from now on.

I will never do chicken, turkey, duck, game hen or any other "bird" on anything but the PBC. I wonder if Noah secretly built this thing just to make the best tasting chicken and turkey ever and to get people to stop frying them and burning their house or garage down.
