Picked up a used PBC yesterday from a nice guy off Craigslist (figured I better say he's nice in case he's a member of the pit, because I forgot to ask
). Came with the ash pan, turkey holder, and a cover, and is in great shape (not very old as he purchased it in May and mentioned he probably only did a dozen cooks).
Did my first cook today - 2 whole chickens, split into halves. I'm going to attempt to post pictures for the first time, so bear with me if it doesn't work. You'll notice the PBC has the Marine Corps logo on the metal plate. Just want to mention I have not served, but have the utmost respect and gratitude for those that have. This cooker is great. I'll definitely be hanging around this part of the forum more.
Here's some pics (this is my first attempt at posting pics, so bear with me if it doesn't work). First is the PBC in action, second shows the chicken about half done, and third is the final product. Man, it was delicious!!
