We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).
Congratulations, DJ DeSpain and kenrobin !
So many are getting PBCs; after I win the Camp Chef in the selfie contest, how would I justify getting a PBC? Would I have to sell it or give it away?
As an aside, #1 saw my selfie and hadda ask. Exactly why did you post a selfie (YOU posted a selfie????) right before bed? What were you thinking, and I use the term loosely?
I explained the contest. "And what would you do with it?" Ans. = cook on it. Well, isn't that just what we need, another grill on the patio. I didn't mention shoes. I survived it.

I cooked two pork butts yesterday on my new PBC, so as promised, attached are pictures of the cook. Everything went well, and the cook temp ranged from 220 to 270. I pulled them at 160 3 and a half hours into the cook to wrap, and pulled them at 190 after total cook time of 7 hours to chop them. I took one of them to my parents for me and my wife to enjoy with them, with plenty left over for everybody. The second butt I'm taking to my office for my co-workers to enjoy!

If you're ever job-hunting, let me know. We can work together (I did pulled pork for a company bike ride, and another time in the office).
