I'm headed into my first winter with my PBC. Has anybody put together something to shield it from the freezing wind and snow (welcome to Wyoming). I was considering building a four sided frame out of two pieces of plywood sandwiching either fiberglass insulation (sealed to prevent fibers from blowing onto the food), or styrofoam. Probably a handle on top to make it easy to carry.

I'm a little south of you here in the Denver area and don't bother trying too hard to shield the PBC from the elements while cooking. I do cook under a covered patio area with no side protection to speak of and when wind is a problem I rotate the barrel so that the bottom vent is facing away from the wind.
