I find it challenging to get a proble to hang in clear space when I have a mostly full hang. One hack I just did that I can't believe I've never done in my PBC is I suddenly thought of using the grill rack just placed on top of the hooks. I had to turn it upside down so the handles didn't interfere with the lid, but it is working a treat.
It is hard to see in the picture, but the wire is run through the hole with the rebar and hanging nearly in the center between the ribs.
PS, in the future I might just place an additional bar across the rebars for simplicity, but for a sput of the moment it seems to be a good solution.
What do you all do to keep the probe in the right spot when hanging?
