    transporting PBC in minivan

We're going to a lake house on Memorial Day. I'll want to bring the PBC along with my wife and kids. I love the smell of the food that comes from the PBC but I would prefer to not have our minivan smell like the PBC and I wonder if ash will come out the bottom if it gets jostled around. it won't be an issue for this particular trip but I would love to take it out more but getting it cooled off in time to go home is a problem.

Never transported mine, but I bet a large plastic garbage bag will do the trick.

I used one of the commercial garbage bags when I didn't have a cover. It should do for transportation.
May still leave a BBQ aroma in your car but that's not a bad thing, right?

Now that would be a neat car scent product, a little Pit Barrel scent wafer hanging from the mirror.

You'd have to hang it with a PBC hook!

Well for Easter last weekend I packed up the PBC and placed in the back of my GMC Acadia and drove to Dallas. It really is easy to pack up charcoal and supplies. Made a beautiful Easter ham (attained hero status). It is easy clean up and back it came. Take it- you will be glad you did!
