Hi everyone, Merry Christmas. I'm doing a prime rib tomorrow for the first time, I am going to use Noah's beef and game rub, although I'll mix with water as that seems the latest suggestion. However I do wonder, would it be a good idea to hang the roast like you do when you do ribs? I know in the videos it is done length wise, but I wouldn't mind getting one end more done. Has anyone done this before?
I will be using the grate today for my prime rib cook as I forgot my hooks at home, but I'd be interested to hear what route you take as far as hanging.
