    Rolling cart for PBC

I've searched the forum and can't find the thread for the rolling cart mod for the PBC. I was at Firehouse Subs today and they had round carts with wheels that their garbage cans were placed in. Their garbage cans looked to be exactly the dimensions of the Pit Barrel and I want one of those carts. Anyone know where to get them?

They probably got them from a restaurant supply place.

You could ask the manager at FS.

      A drum dolly works:

Heavy Duty - Swivel Caster Wheel - Drum Dolly 1000 Pound Capacity - 30 Gallon Steel Frame Non Tipping https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01LZC9MDN/

As does a cart from Harbor Freight:

60$ for this cart, cut a hole, start cooking. Im about to run to harbor freight to pick up a cart!

Harbor Freight buys their top quality tools from the same factories that supply our competitors. We cut out the middleman and pass the savings to you!

Interesting, PBC belongs in a garbage cart?
      My pellet grill has wheels.

fzxdoc, I'm still looking. One concern is the casters. Are they non metsl, either rubber or plastic? It could be me but I think of heat conducting to the wheels. The last thing I need is another's meltdown. TIA.

I've had that cart for a couple of years now, RichieB , and have not had a single issue with heat affecting those casters. That said, I put a few 6x6 inch pavers under the barrel, on top of the heatproof mat, for every cook. My smokers are on our Trex deck and I'm always careful about heat buildup.

Thanks Kathryn. Good move on the heat barrier. I use it in the driveway.

In response to this MCS got to me I checked on line. Couldn't find or justify something that would work with my PBJ. Thought, has Pit Barrel CO. every thought of a product? So I sent them a message. Here it is and there response. Sorry for the format of the question. It's their form.

I'm sure nothing will come of it, but their speedy response is what I would expect from this company.
        Hi, question.

I have a PBJ, love it.
You ever consider a dolly with wheels for PBC and PBJ? I
I'm a member of AmazingRibs.com Pitmasters. A discussion came up with folks buying dollys and carts, hacking as needed. Not thrilled with what I saw online at the $ offered. I'd like one that's designed for the PBJ in black. Maybe to adapt with or without stand. Just a thought.
        Hello Richard,

Thank you for reaching out to us and thank you for the suggestion. We have had a few other people inquire about a dolly in the past. I will be sure to pass this along to our product development team. Please let us know if you have any other questions. We are always happy to help.
