Last month i fired up the uds to cook some pork chops.
I put them on then went to do something else. Came back 20 minutes later to the cooker smoking like a dumpster fire.
The problem was the (supermarket) meat was losing a lot of water on the coals.
The inside of the drum was coated in a thick sticky black tar-like substance.
Took me two hours cleaning it. The pressure washer was absolutely useless, i ended up scrubbing with green sponges (used 5 of them).
I also tried burning it with a propane torch, but it also got rid of the paint on the other side.
Do you guys have experience dealing with this?
