Hi, Folks.
I'm considering a used Stump's Baby vertical feed smoker. Wondering if there are any owners out there who can share their opinion and what to look out for. Thanks in advance!

I used one years back at a BBQ competition. The Stumps baby belonged to a friend. I think it was a Baby. It definitely was a Stumps vertical feeder. It worked like a champ, held temp well and was easy to get your food in and out. The one drawback on it was adding charcoal. During the competition, the fuel was getting low and the person that was doing chicken (the owner of the stumps) dumped in fresh charcoal to keep the fire going. The charcoal smoldered and turned his chicken black. I was doing brisket and had already taken mine out to hold in a Cambro. So you'd think he'd know better. Probably need to add lit charcoal and not fresh to the vertical chute if replenishing the fire. Anyway, it was a very good smoker.
