Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the group. I'll try and post some finished cooks. Unfortunately the family is pretty hungry by the time the food is done, lol. This is my dream smoker. Saved up a lot of pennies over the years to make it happen.
i like that rifle ya got there. is that to fend of wild beasts from your smokin meats or do ya just like plinking to pass the time?
Damn I missed that pic. It's a shotgun. Unfortunately that evening we had a bear roaming around and I had to take precaution. I would have only scared it.
I always wondered how well those Stumps smokers worked. I enjoyed seeing Stumps and his wife in those Pitmaster competitions on the Discovery Channel. He talked a bit about his smokers in one of those episodes.
