You open the app and take a picture of a wine label, and it finds the wine in its database. It shows user ratings and average price making it easy to tell if the bottle is a good deal or not. You can also read user reviews for more details. It's a free app so you should definitely try it out.
Yup, it is helpful! You take a picture of the label of the wine you are enjoying and the app tells you all about it. The next time you are buying wine you pull out the app as a reminder...maybe that is just me because I can never remember the name of wines.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I use Delectable but similar concept. I am such a beverage snob. I have Utappd for beer, Delectable for wine and now, thanks to Attjack ‘s other thread, I will now check out Distiller!!
