I haven't tried a lot of Irish whiskeys but of what I have tried, I really enjoyed Red Breast and Kanppogue.

Do you want to be best friends?!!??

We were in Ireland over the holidays, and did the tour at the Jameson distillery. My wife is NOT a whiskey drinker, but she liked a couple of their varieties. She REALLY liked one of the Middletons. Told me, "If you want it, treat yourself". I said, "that's real sweet, but you should see that price tag, to make sure you mean it"...... she didn't mean it. But the variety she liked was close to $900 a bottle. I don't like anything that much.

I love the Jameson Black Barrel. I do like to get away from scotch sometimes, even though it’s my favorite tipple. For a less expensive Irish, I like The Sexton. I also like Black Bush.

I forgot that I have a bottle of Sextons too…it sits on my decorative shelf with some other fancy bottles 😂

Jameson, Bushmills, Laphroaig. All 3 are on my sideboard, and I plan on branching out

I’ve never had Redbreast. Thinking of picking up a bottle for St Pasdy’s. How do you like it?

Nice collection, you have the bases covered fairly well here.

I've never been much of an Irish whisky fan. To me (and I mean no disrespect to those who enjoy it) it tastes like someone poured vodka in my whiskey, diluted flavor but still has the burn. That said, I remember really liking Tullamore Dew Phoenix. It had quite a punch of flavor if I remember correctly.

I think that is a very clever way of putting it. I sometimes do the Irish stuff because I am not just not in the mood to have the strong punch of the Arbeg.
