Spring has sprung here in the NW Oregon, flowers blooming, visions of thin blue smoke wafting in the air. Thoughts turn to beer. That brings me to the question Does Adult Beverages for BBQing count as MCS?

Troutman I noticed that as well, but, as in the case of Mr. Bones , I’d be here all day correcting their grammar and misspellings. I like to pick and choose my battles….Last edited by Panhead John; February 16, 2022, 09:57 AM.

The difference is we have water in the ground. When our temps rise everything begins to spring to life. https://images.app.goo.gl/NKJHEHgH5RQU38Ez7

Yea tmaan235 you need to be here in the spring when we have our monsoons that flood your house or in the late summer when a hurricane blows that same house away just when you got it repaired from the spring flood. Not sure anywhere is safe enough to be jealous of. But it is the reason I moved south to escape the Artic tundra of the Midwest.

Retired, living in Western Mass. Enjoy music, cooking and my family.
Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner. A 22" Kettle with vortex SnS and OnlyFire pizza oven. A Smokey Joe and the most recent addition a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, ThermoPop and a Thermapen Mk4. Recently added 2 TempSpike wireless meat thermometers.
I say no has to be cooking related for MCS. Beer and other libations aren't just for cooking entertainment.
