I get the Margarita sour mix powder in bags from Chili’s and make my own presidente margarita..
You might be able to save some money and calories (as well as avoid mystery ingredients) by trying to duplicate the flavor/experience rather than purchasing the Chili's powder mix. Something to try when you have some free time.
Margaritas are typically just three or four ingredients in various combinations:
tequila
Cointreau orange liqueur or triple sec
lime juice
agave or simple syrup
Chili's says that their version is made with tequila, brandy, triple sec, and their sour mix (which would be a combination of lime and sugar), and potentially a small splash of fresh lime juice on top. Interesting that they declare that it's shaken "exactly 25 times", which may or may not be important when duplicating.
smokin foolAttjackits getting plain old Topo Chico Mineral water that's holding me back on Ranch Water.
Amazon shows it but its never in stock and it like $130 a dozen. Guess I could use another mineral water but it wouldn't be authentic ranch water either.
We used to think Topo Chico was difficult to obtain, but we've found it at the Kroger family of stores, the Target, and other places. You shouldn't have to order it off Amazon anymore as it has become more mainstream in the Perrier aisle.
Sometime Chili’s will sell a bag of their sweet & Sour mix powder. It depends on the restaurant manager. I really like Chili’s mix and it is freshly made. The Chili’s sweet & Sour mix makes one gallon.
