Meat Monsters will be an authentic Smokehouse and BBQ operation.... with a conscience. Opening in Aberdeenshire in Scotland.
Folls will be able to eat in or takeaway from our HQ or alternatively order and enjoy our food via our clever pub delivery model.
Why a conscience? We are fiercely determined to source our produce, supplies and services locally or as a minimum in Scotland.
We have already secured supplies of pork and beef exclusively from local and Scottish suppliers.
Also, absolutely 100% of our food packaging will compost in as little as 12 weeks (and will be back on the fields of farmers in the northeast of Scotland in as little as 18 weeks) in our effort to close the loop on the blight of takeaway plastics and unsustainable landfill waste.
We will even encourage folks to bring your takeaway food waste and packaging back to us for consolidation and collection along with our own.
There's more to Meat Monsters than just a restaurant and takeaway. Want to bring your family along and help prepare and experiment with your own meat and vegetarian dishes, then come back the next day and enjoy them fresh from the smoker?
Are you a vegetarian or vegan? We are doing some cool things with our menus and ingredients to ensure that smokey goodness is for everyone and if you are one of the rapidly growing community of "Flexetarians" who only eat meat occasionally, then you will be able to "eat cleanly" and with peace of mind in terms of the welfare and quality of livestock in our supply chain.
