Like pknj mentioned, consider trying out a curry house in London. Great Britain has about 12,000 curry houses, probably only India has more.

London Pass is doing a sale this weekend. Let us know if you want to get a code that may or may not work for you.

I looked at the list - I don't think we're going to have time to go IN most any of the attractions, it's just about seeing them, taking some pics, enjoying the scenery. We really only have 1 evening and a full day in London. We have a friend there who's already gotten us the hop-on-hop-off tour tickets and she says we can make due pretty easily with just that. Thanks, though!

So the funny thing about the UK is most of the Fish and Chip places really suck, especially around London in the tourist districts. Although the Chip Vans or Chippy's (Fish and Chip Shop or Truck) semi close to the tourist areas usually have something really good. There used to be a really good one that setup around the park near the Greenwich Royal Observatory (which is a cool thing to go check out anyway and most tourists miss)
The other thing is there are a LOT of really good curry places (allegedly, I hate curry so can't confirm).
My opinion, go to a random pub and try one of their specials... ideally a Sunday Roast (you can sometimes get not on a Sunday).
There's also a ton of top notch eateries near West End, Demartinos is better Italian that I had anywhere in Rome

Sounds like you are going to have a blast...few ideas:
London: Borough Market has some terrific vendors, as someone already said. Specifically get toasted cheese sandwich and/or raclette here: https://boroughmarket.org.uk/traders/kappacasein/ And just admire this butcher's meat counter, and get a sausage roll which they will warm up for you: https://boroughmarket.org.uk/traders/ginger-pig/ And Monmouth Coffee if you want coffee. I would also normally say a chorizo sandwich from Brindisa and a duck confit sandwich from the French place, but as you're already going to Barcelona and Paris maybe not.. Also would echo the comment that it's a terrific place for Indian food.
Barcelona: Mercat de la Boqueria is a food market that's fun to wander...mostly produce/etc but also a good place to get your jamon iberico and has few open air tapas bars sprinkled in which can be a great experience. El Quim is a famous one, but gets crowded - last time I went I managed to arrive just when it opened (8am?) and got seats immediately which was great. Cerveceria Catalana is also a favorite of mine for tapas.
Paris: Breizh Cafe is a fun place for crepes, it's a sit-down restaurant but not fancy.

Good tips. Those open air markets are the kind of thing I'll be looking for, mostly. I think we plan to visit Coal Drop Market and Southbank Market in London. We're going to be over in the area of the Borough Market some, too, so we'll probably check that out as well!

Oh yes, and definitely have Boqueria in Barcelona on the list, and we're staying right next to Mercat el Clot, too, which is slightly lesser but still should be cool.
